We had a very quiet day today. We did take a trip into Blythe to Albertsons grocery as we were out of blueberries and orange juice for breakfast. When we got back I sat out in the sun with my Kindle just enjoying the warmth. It's sort of fun to just sit and people watch. Many of the people out walking are exercising their dogs -- mostly little dogs, but some pretty good sized ones as well. Other people that come walking by either on their way to or from the swimming pool. Some of them are quite tanned and almost leathery looking while others are pretty pale with just a pinkish tint of sun. Some folks are just out walking, some just strolling while others are definitely power walking very briskly along. (Although I haven't seen any of them walking with weights.) I've not seen many bicyclists at this park like we have at many others. It's probably because the park is built on a hillside with gravel roads, not very conducive to pleasant pleasure riding.
There are cast iron barbecues at every RV site, but most of them seem to be being used as stands for small gas barbecues. The smell of barbecue starts in late morning and continues throughout the afternoon. It does tend to make one hungry!
