We had planned to leave Reflection Lake RV Park tomorrow morning. But we have been watching the weather reports on TV. We've had a bit of experience with the strong Santa Ana winds in this part of the world and there's some pretty strong ones predicted starting tonight. They're supposed to last for the next day and a half with gusts predicted for up to 75 miles per hour through the canyons. You really don't want to be driving something with as much surface as a motor home in that kind of wind.
So, this afternoon, we walked around the lake over to the office and paid for another night here. From here we are going to go to Colorado River Oasis at Ehrenberg, Arizona (just across the border from California) for a couple of days. We have reservations at an RV resort near Lake Havasu on the 17th, but aren't sure what we are going to be staying in between.
We talked with our friends Leslie and Bill this evening. They have made it to Florida today. Leslie will be soon able to start spoiling her new little baby niece!
