Lights on the Water

One of the fun things about Reflection Lake is the fountains. There is one in each portion of the lake. I think they are actually there to keep the water aerated for the fish, but they do look sort of neat. At night, the one on our side of the lake is lit up. There are red and yellow floodlights underneath the water that turn on at dark.

It was pretty windy today. We didn't have the horrendous wind gusts that the forecasters were talking about, but it was definitely a windy day. Away from this rather sheltered area, there were several accidents shown on TV tonight. Many were of semis on their sides. It was probably a wise decision to stay put today.
This afternoon we did run into San Jacinto to pick up some groceries. We had planned to go back into town for dinner tonight, but after we got home, it seemed like it took too much energy to go back in, so I made nachos for supper.
