And Today, Two States!

We needed to find a Camping World store today as we've finally decided to update Auntie Violet's GPS unit. We had been looking at the 7 inch Magellan RoadMate RV 9165T-LM that was developed in conjunction with Good Sam Club specifically for RVers. The older Garmin that we have does not have the capacity to program it with the height and width of your rig. Now that we are on the east coast, we keep reading about 10 foot high overpasses and narrow bridges. When we were reading reviews for campgrounds in New York State, we kept reading about directions that didn't take these things into consideration.

So we decided to bite the bullet and go ahead and get the new GPS. And wouldn't you know, the nearest Camping World was in New Jersey! We combined the trip there with a trip to Costco at King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. This Costco looked like it has been there for a very long time. And it is the first one we've ever been to that didn't have Forry's Polish dogs! They did have an all-beef hot dog that he said was pretty good, but just wasn't quite the same -- maybe because they didn't have sauerkraut to go with? I had an Italian sausage with grilled peppers and onions that was really good. (We've never seen that at a Costco before either...)

It was a bit cheaper trip today. It only cost us $6.25 for road tolls today versus the $13.75 we paid yesterday. Of course, we went a lot further yesterday as well! It does give Forry something to rant about however. He had set up our GPS to avoid toll roads when we were in Florida. We avoided them, but I think we drove an awful lot of extra miles in the process. We decided when we got to Pennsylvania, we would change the setting, in order to make both better time and better mileage.
