An Early Start to Auntie Violet's Fix

This is NOT a sunset!

Can you believe we were up so early this morning that we beat the sun? It was a glorious sunrise.

We had made an appointment for today with ASAP Mobile RV Service LLC, a firm that had advertised in Valle del Oro newsletter. When we checked them out with the office, we discovered they were well respected, bonded and insured. The tech was here this morning a little after seven AM.

Since the space next to us is still empty, he was able to pull his mobile unit in right alongside of Auntie Violet --

Before he started on the roof, Josh came inside and opened up the air conditioners in both the front and back and cleaned and tightened the gaskets. Then it was up on the roof with his cleaners and tubes of sealant. He cleaned and then sealed all of the areas where there were  attachments through the roof. He ended up using 11 tubes of 501 LSW-1 Dicor sealant! (This is a "self-leveling" sealant that never really gets hard and brittle.)

It didn't take him terribly long either. Josh was finished and off the roof a little after nine-thirty. We let the sealant cure for a few days, then we'll see about getting the rig washed and waxed.
