Day Five -- Pittsburgh 2011

It's Friday -- and we're almost done! We have one more Delegate Session tomorrow morning that starts at 8:15 and ends at 11:45. And then Pittsburgh 2011 will be history. It's been a good conference. Things have gone remarkably well. It's been really great to see so many young adults involved and active in the church. How it's changed from the first convention I went to many years ago in Colorado when the majority of the people were bald or white-haired white males!
It was beginning to sprinkle this morning when I walked over to the Convention Center from the hotel. There was a raindrop about every foot or so on the sidewalk. A little later, I guess it really started to pour. Forry waited it out at the hotel and then came over later after it had stopped.
Saying good-bye to many friends already started this evening as some people (including Granddaughter Havela's Youth Group) were already heading home. It's always bittersweet to say good-bye to people you know you will not see for another couple of years...
