I still cannot believe that it was after two AM when we got home last night! We literally do not stay up that late (without a book in hand in bed, anyway!). We had a very enjoyable evening. Our friends Katharine and Dennis had invited us over for dinner, wanting a chance to visit before we head south. After some changing around of dates and times, we sat down last night for a delicious meal of sour kraut and sausage, mashed potatoes and gravy, and all the accompaniments. And we talked. And then we talked some more. The women talked in the kitchen, the men talked in the living room, we all talked together. And before we knew it, it was midnight! And then it was after one o'clock!
Crazy people, but what a delightful evening we had.
