Today was a rest day and we truly treated it as one. Slept in this morning. Watched the leaves fall from the trees. Watched a boatload of fishermen float by on the river. Watched a large flock of robins enjoying the fruits of an ornamental tree that had fallen to the ground.
Looked at some carrots Brother Pat had given me from his garden and made a batch of stew. The carrots, onions, celery, cauliflower, mushrooms - and oh yes, some beef cubes.
Muttered at the idiots who tear around the campground with no idea what 5 miles per hour means! Seems like there are more people who can't/don't read all the time..
Watched an incredibly gorgeous red sunset over the trees. Nice way to end a lovely day.
