A Day for Friends

We were still extremely tired this morning. When Forry's CPAP mask slips as he turns or moves wrong, the air under pressure whistles, sometimes loudly enough to wake me up. It happened a couple of times last night. Then it was hard to get back to sleep as I was so tired. (Does that even make sense?)

We decided this morning not to make the 50 mile round trip back out to Menno, but to go out for brunch with our friends from Seattle who had come over for the sale. Leslie did her usual great job of finding an excellent place to eat. We had an excellent breakfast at Manny's Cafe in Moses Lake, then went back to the RV for a good visit. Forry and Bill stopped and picked up some gaskets at the hardware store on the way and now we have no more leaking hoses!

Bill and Leslie headed back to the West side about four o'clock and Forry and I went out and drained the tanks. We also needed to add fresh water to our tank as we had found a note on our door last night saying they would be working on the water system Monday and would be shutting the water off. We have a 101 gallon fresh water tank. We almost always connect a hose to the campground water spigot, so seldom use what we carry on board. We knew the tank was almost empty so we were going to fill it partway - but we actually had to look up how to do it. It had been so long!

This evening we went back into Moses Lake to have pizza with our Godson Peter, his wife Tessa and their sons, Ayden and Ethan. Curt and his lady friend Ruth joined us as well. I wanted to spend a little time with them before we head back south. I think Chico's Pizza has got to have the very best pizza I've ever eaten! Add that to good company and you have a great evening!
