On Our Way

It is Fall. Without a doubt. Therefore, it is time for us to begin our annual progress toward the south. We managed to have the tanks emptied and everything put away a little after eleven this morning. We stopped by the Conoco station in Westlake and topped off the diesel. It was very nice to purchase it at $2.79 a gallon - much better than the $4+ we had paid in the past.

We didn't go very far today. We have an appointment at Ulleman's (now Awesome RV) in Chehalis next Monday so we will sort of mosey our way in that direction. We drove only 72 miles on I-90 from Pier 4 RV Resort in Moses Lake to the Ellensburg KOA. This is such a nice little park. It's nestled between the river and the freeway. The leaves are all turning colors, so it is very pretty here.

We were well settled in by 2 PM or so and had the rest of the afternoon to take a well needed rest.
