SNOW in Tijaras!

This is the scene we woke up to this morning!

As we looked out the front window of Auntie Violet, you could see streaks of snow on the Toad --

It was a dark and dreary day! The motorhome was chilly even with both of our electric heaters running. I curled up on the couch in my fleece fuzzy robe to read the Sunday paper on my Kindle while Forry snoozed in his recliner and worked on his Suduko.

By the time we left late this afternoon to go into Juni and Tom's, there were only occasional flurries of snow and there was none sticking to the road.

We had a mix of snow and sunshine in Albuquerque. It was funny to see Juni's blooming clematis vines and her yellow rose blossom sitting in the snow. It was about 40 degrees, the snow was not sticking, so hopefully they will not freeze.

We had pizza and salad for dinner, then Juni had a scrumptious triple chocolate bundt cake with chocolate cherry truffle ice cream as an early birthday celebration for me.

We arrived back home and turned on the TV just in time to hear President Obama's announcement of the death of Osama Bin Laden. 5-1-11 gives closure to 9-11!
