Spring Weather????!!!

I don't have any idea what's going on with the weather in New Mexico, but I sure wish it would shape up and act like it was spring! We might have one day of nice weather and then the next day will be just plain nasty! We have been wanting to go to the top of Sandia Mountain and ride the tramway, but it's been just too windy for it to be in operation...

We have had rain showers off and on all day today. When we were leaving the RV park to run into town this afternoon, we actually had snow pelting the windshield! It didn't last long -- as our altitude dropped, it turned to rain. Then when we got to the west of Albuquerque to where Camping World is located, the sun was shining. But the wind was blowing so hard I could hardly get the car door open.

We went from Camping World to Tom and Juni's in order to go with them to a Chinese buffet for dinner -- at their house the sun was shining. Then it rained some more while we were inside the restaurant. And tonight it is chilly!

Some of these clouds still look awfully angry!


I guess when it comes down to it, I should not be whining. After all, we have not been dealing with tornadoes and floods like much of the country. But still, I would really like to have some real nice May spring weather!
