Fat Tuesday

There was a Mardi Gra parade today at Valle del Oro, but unlike other parks we've been at where there were parades, this one did not wend its way through the whole park. There was a group of motorcycles however, who came down our street. They rode in pairs -- one on each side of the street -- then would stop while the pair in the back rode up the middle to the front. Then they would go a short distance, stop, and repeat the process. It was fun to watch and they were having a good time.

We've spent a good share of the day in front of the TV. First watching the live action from California as the search for their cop killer went on. Then later watching President Obama's State of the Union speech.
