IHOP

It was really late last night when we all finally got to bed. It started raining hard during the night and pretty much rained most of the morning. It was damp and chilly -- good sleeping weather.  And everyone took advantage of it. I was up fairly early, but there was no one else stirring.

About eleven-thirty, Son-in-law Scott came over wondering if we'd like to go out for brunch. His crew was just getting up as was Forry. So about noon, we had everyone up and ready to go. Scott had suggested that we go to the International House of Pancakes. It's been a long time since we've been to one of those.

It turned out to be a good idea. I had some brioche French toast topped with peaches and pecans that was really good. Forry had an omelet while MM and Claire tried the crepes. I think everyone enjoyed their meal. It was a good way to spend part of a rainy day.

It was a bit cold in the RV when we got home, we actually turned on our little heater for the first time this summer. It finally got up to 70 degrees inside the RV. It's not just cold, it's the damp that gets us. I am wearing long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, a sweatshirt, socks and slippers. Not my idea of summer!
