As we were getting ready to head for Spokane this morning to check in with the bank and to pick up the carrier bars for Toad II's roof, I got a call from the lady at Hallmark Suzuki saying that our license plates had come in. She was wondering where she should mail them and was quite pleased to hear that we were actually going to be in Spokane today.
We stopped at the Suzuki Parts Dept. to pick up the bars and discovered that the lady at the sales office had brought the plates over there as well, so it ended being a quick trip. From there we went to the bank with the paperwork I had gathered together for them. We evidently had everything they wanted, so that was a quick stop as well.
Next was a stop at Costco. Forry was out of cereal and we needed blueberries and calcium citrate tablets. It was too early in the day to have supper, so Forry didn't even get a Polish dog. We gassed the Suzuki and then instead of staying in town for several more hours then going out to dinner, we decided to just come on home.
We got back to the ranch and Auntie Violet in time to watch the Vice Presidential Debate. I must admit I can hardly wait for the election to be over -- it seems like the campaign and the ads have been going on for years!
