Toad II Gets a Hitch

We had an appointment this morning at Hallmark Suzuki's Service Center to have the Tow Package installed on Toad II. It's a pretty sturdy and good-looking hitch.

Here's a picture of a fairly dusty Auntie Violet after last night's dust storm. After the hitch was installed this morning, the shop gave Toad II a bath, so it doesn't look too bad...

I snapped this close-up of the top of the slide over the living room, just to show the large numbers of pine needles stacked up on Auntie Violet's top. The ground at the RV Park is almost solid with them -- for a little while yesterday it almost looked like it was snowing pine needles!

We ran a few errands after we got Toad II back. I picked up a new pair of jeans and we stopped at the AT&T store and got a new iPhone charger for the car. Other than that, we didn't do much else before we headed back to Peaceful Pines. Forry spent part of the afternoon transferring some of the stuff we had stashed from the Liberty out to back of the new rig.

We're looking forward to watching the first Presidential Debate this evening...
