The Second Day of 2013

Since it's now January, those folks who wanted to spend the holidays at home are now moving south. There has been lots of activity around the park today with rigs coming in. The empty site beside us was finally filled this afternoon by a large fifth wheel.

We didn't get a chance to say "hi" to them as we were just pulling out of the driveway to go to the grocery store when they were coming down the street. Hopefully we'll get a chance to do so tomorrow.

I think we're finally starting to get ahead of these nasty colds. We rode the bikes over to check the mail, then came back and drove over to the Safeway store which is just a few miles away on the other side of Highway 60. We were out of orange juice, bread and milk, do decided to make a quick trip. I didn't think it could be so tiring, but by the time we got home and had stuff almost put away, we both needed a nap.

Later I stuck a frozen pizza  in the oven. It was okay, but I can't wait until we're feeling good enough to go out to eat one.
