Meanwhile Back at the Ranch

It was warm today! It was a beautiful day, the sky was blue and the sun was shining. Forry had dumped the gray and black tanks last night and washed Auntie Violet's windshield. This morning we pulled in the slides, pulled up the jacks, disconnected the water and power and we were on our way.

For us, it was a short driving day. It's only ninety miles from where we were parked at Ponderosa Falls RV Park to Tree Heart Ranch. We exited the freeway at Ritzville and drove downtown where Forry parked by the courthouse while I walked over to the post office to pick up mail that Daughter Mary Mae had sent before they left on vacation last week.

We were a bit surprised by how windy and gusty it was when we got to the ranch. It was 85 degrees, but didn't seem that warm with the wind. We got the lawn mower out of the storage shed and Forry mowed the area where we park. That way there will be less risk of fire -- or of getting cheat grass seeds in my shoes!

I always forget how dicey getting the Internet is down in this coulee. Hopefully this will post okay!
