Our friends Bill and Leslie (Serenity's people) have been in California for the last couple of weeks, sightseeing. We have been keeping each other posted on our whereabouts as we go along. Today they decided to change their plans of going to Pahrump, Nevada to instead back-track and meet us in Mojave. And on top of that nice little surprise, they had dinner for us in process when we got there!
We had some scrumptious barbecued fruit and vegetable chicken kabobs followed by chocolate cake with peppermint ice cream. The peppermint ice cream came from Fenton's Creamery in Oakland -- rated as the fourth best food in the country!
