On The Road Again --

Here we are -- on the road again, finally!


We said good-bye to the grand-kids and their parents; got the last hugs; and headed out! Auntie Violet seems to be happy and everything seems to be working well (Shhh, don't let anyone hear that!) We headed out and down Interstate Five to Canyonville, Oregon. There was a bit of misty rain early on, but it soon cleared off.



We called Seven Feathers RV Park to see about reservations for a couple of nights, but they said just to come on in, they weren't at all busy! There was a fifth-wheel in front of us when we pulled in and another motorhome was soon right behind us in line. After we got parked, we saw two more rigs come bopping in. But, the park is actually fairly empty. They said at the front desk that it will be fairly quiet until after Christmas, but that they will be full for New Years.



Tonight we took the shuttle over to the casino for dinner. They have an unpublished special that the shuttle driver told us about last year. I had a rib eye steak with all the trimmings for $8.99 and Forry had the steak PLUS a lobster tail for $14.99!
