Another Game Day

Today the Mariners played the Milwaukee Brewers and won 10-5. The regulars are being allowed to play a bit longer now. The starting pitcher, Happ, actually pitched for three innings and the rest of the crew did not leave until after they had batted in the fifth inning. Both Charlie Furbush and Danny Farquar pitched solid scoreless innings.

It was another VERY warm day today. There was a very welcome small amount of breeze at the ballpark otherwise we would have had a tough day. There were some clouds over on the horizon, but the breeze was blowing the wrong way and they went around the ballpark.

This is a picture of one of the many Globe Mallow plants blooming on the other side of the fence. A harbinger of Spring, the orange Mallow blooms are the first flowers we see in the early spring.
