It was a good game today. The Mariners played the Texas Rangers and managed to shut them down with an 8-0 game. It was exciting as there were two 3-run home runs. The first was hit by Kyle Seager in the first inning after Robinson Cano walked and Nelson Cruz had hit a single. Cano was in the middle of the next rally in the second inning, following Seth Smith's walk, he singled to to left, then Cruz hit a homer off the center field wall, high above the yellow line. These kind of games are fun to watch -- as long as it's your team making the runs...
We came home in time to watch Gonzaga win its game in the NCAA March Madness, moving up to the Sweet Sixteen. At the same time, the Gonzaga Women were doing the same thing. I bet it's rockin' in Spokane tonight!
And now it's time to sit down and watch the PBR bull riding in Albuquerque that we had recorded while we were gone this afternoon. I do love the recorder the good guys in Junction City were able to set up for us last fall. We have really enjoyed it. I would much rather be at The Pit in Albuquerque, but I'll settle for watching it on TV.
