Rainy, Windy Day

It was very windy when we got up this morning. Even our neighbor Mike brought his tied-down awning in. He said he hasn't brought it in since they got here last September. It wasn't long before the rain started. And it rained hard!

By the time it tapered off in the late afternoon, there were even puddles -

Toward evening, Forry got a picture of the Four Peaks that were actually peeking out from behind the clouds for the first time all day -

The sunset wasn't as spectacular as some we have had, but it was still a nice one.

 
I don't like rainy damp days - and my joints don't either! I didn't accomplish much of anything today. In fact, I curled up on the couch with my afghan and my iPad and read the day away.
