Laundry and More Cold

The cold wave continues. Everytime I get an email or a Facebook note from someone, it's invariably talking about how cold they are. Our friends Leslie and Bill up north in Bothell, Washington are having a particularly tough time of it. They've wintered in Arizona and Florida the last several years and are definitely not used to be where it is cold, especially during a year when the Seattle area is breaking records for being cold!

It was quite chilly here this morning. Toad II had a pretty good covering of frost on his windows. We waited until about 10 AM before we took the geraniums back outside. It's not supposed to get as cold tonight, but we'll see what the temp is before we go to bed, but we'll most likely bring them inside anyway. Our neighbors water filter was frozen this morning. We've not disconnected hoses, but they seem to have been okay and haven't froze up.

I finally got ambitious and did laundry today. I had planned to do it yesterday before we decided to go to Queen Creek instead. I have noticed that when it isn't warm enough to keep the windows and doors open, the clothes don't dry as fast...

This afternoon, Geeks on Tour had a webinar on how to use Picasso with Send Out Cards. It was an hour-long broadcast with a lady from SOC in Florida and the Geeks. I learned a few things that might just make Christmas card making a bit easier.
