More!

These little cacti of the barrel family are miniature darlings. They are only 4-5 inches across --

And they have these cute little 1/4 inch flowers in circles around their tops --




This one looks like a large spider-type, probably in the cholla family -- With these greenish-yellow flowers -- As I was taking a picture of this rather strange looking cactus (looks something like the "hairy man" cacti), the lady of the house came out to talk with me about the flowers --



She evidently does a lot of walking and looking for cacti blooms as well and clued me in about where to look for some others that she has seen --



She commented that it was too bad that so many of the resort winter residents left at the beginning of April. They never get to see any of the cacti in bloom!
