I cannot find a picture that comes anywhere close to this cactus in any of my books! I finally went on the internet and discovered that it is Cephalocereus senilis, better known as Old Man Cactus or Mexican Old Man. It is one weird cactus!
- It was another chilly day today. It got down to the low 40s during the night, but has gradually warmed up during the day -- actually made it up to 60 degrees! Tomorrow things are supposed to warm up to more normal temperatures. Another of our neighbors left today and the 5th wheel that was for sale next to us was hauled away by the consignment people yesterday. It's more like a ghost town every day.
