Making Progress

But, it's oh so slow! Todd and the girls loaded up the van again today and put his shop benches and their equipment in the trailer along with more boxes. The girls and I went in to Canby and picked up Ky's retainer from the orthodontist, then over to Fred Meyers to buy them new flip flops. From there we went on to Woodburn to pick up Havela's friend Katy who came to help clean today.

I put the Havela and Kyra to work putting second coats of paint on the accent colors in the family room while Katy started on the kitchen cupboard cleaning joined by Havela when she finished painting. I actually started putting some things away! There is a very nice built-in china cupboard in the dining room that Todd thought would be just perfect for the dinnerware we brought from Guadalajara, Mexico so many years ago. I was just able to fit all twelve place settings in.

Ky put another coat of paint on the green wall in her brother's room. Then she recruited Havela and Katy and went to work putting blue handprints on the wall she painted aqua yesterday. I should have taken a picture -- my artiste granddaughter does have an interesting room!
