At My Sister's in Touchet...

We made it! We finally have gotten out of Spokane! We finally got out on the highway about one o'clock this afternoon. I felt bad that Forry had to do so much of the prep work himself, I did what I could without bending, but that still means he did most of the work.

We went over to the Petro store for diesel and could only get $75 worth on our credit card on the pump, so I had to take the card into the store so that we could keep pumping. Another $200 later we were finally out of there!

We have had trouble with a slow leak on one of the inside rear duels, so had to go into the shop to get air added to it. Finally got that done and then finally were on our way. It was a nice day for traveling, the roads were bare and dry and the sun was shining off and on. It was good to be back out on the road again!

We arrived at Sister Sherry's a little before four o'clock, just as Sherry and Napua (her Hawaiian friend from Olympia) were out doing chores. I will have to take pictures of the mastiffs in the morning. In addition to Deacon, the almost two year old male, Sherry has two female mastiffs staying with her -- Lara and Corinne plus Maggie, the stray hunting dog who showed up a year or so ago. There are dog beds all over the living room...!

It's good to be here!
