Pastor Terry and Jerilee stopped by to visit this morning. Jerilee had not been in either of our motor homes, so it was fun to let her see it. It's too bad that I am forbidden to do any housework, because Auntie Violet has looked better... Pastor Terry will be finishing up his term at Menno next June, he has been at Menno for 12 years now. He's been a good pastor that we have greatly enjoyed and appreciated.
Later this afternoon we headed into Spokane. Stopped at Auntie's Bookstore to pick up the book I had ordered for Sister Sherry -- and naturally they could not find it! (It was supposed to have come in yesterday!) After conferring with another staffer, the book was finally found. I never did hear the reason it was not on the shelf with all of the other ordered books...
We didn't have that problem at Costco. Forry's hearing aids were not only there, but the tech had already made all of the adjustments needed and updated what she had done in the manual. This pair is smaller than the previous ones he had before (the ones he had lost one of...), you certainly cannot see them. He commented how noisy it was in the store when we were checking out -- so I guess they are working!
