As usual when we are at Sister Sherry's, a good share of our time is spent cooking, or baking, or talking about what we should be making! So far today Sherry has made tiramasu (for Thanksgiving), flan (for dinner tonight), a pork roast with onions, carrots and potatoes for tonight, and cranberry chutney (which we had with the pork roast and will have as a side dish with the turkey tomorrow). We also made the brine today that we'll put the turkey in tonight.
I was going to bring the camera over today to get some pictures of the mastiffs, but forgot all about out it until just now... I guess I'll just have to do it tomorrow.
Forry spent some time today working on the hydro-hot system. Most of the issue seems to be with the float in the reservoir (just like it was in our first Alpine), so he bypassed it and now everything seems to be working well. We'll see how it continues to work through the night... It's clear tonight, so it's liable to be chilly!
