Brother Patrick was playing mailman today. Daughter Mary Mae stopped by his place in Moses Lake this morning on her family's way back home to Mount Vernon after they had spent Thanksgiving with Scott's family in Cheney, and gave him our mail. Patrick and Sister-in-law Cindy came down to the farm here at Touchet and brought my Niece Becky and Great-nephew Carter with them! He is such a delight and at almost two is all boy! The picture above is one of the few quiet moments he spent looking at dinosaur books with Mommy. Most of the rest of the time he was out at the sand pile playing with the trucks or driving the dump truck as fast as he could run!
Since Napua left early this morning, I got to cut up the caramels today. I wanted mine more bite-size, so cut them about half the size he had been. By the time I had finished wrapping all of them, I knew there was a good reason why you don't want to make them too small -- it's a lot to wrap!
