An Absolutely Special RV Park

Riding on the shuttle bus tonight after our $10.50, 10 oz rib steak and baked potato  dinner, we got in a discussion with the other folks and the driver about RV parks. There was unanimous agreement that if Seven Feathers isn't the most beautiful and nicest RV Resort in the country, we don't know where a better one is. In the six or seven years that we have been coming here,  trees have grown and filled in. There are nice grassy areas at each site with lots of plantings in between the sites. We've been here in the spring when the rhododendrons are blooming - gorgeous! Now there is a nice mixture of white bark birches, maples and fir trees.

Early this afternoon, we walked across the paved road to the pool house and spent a half hour soaking in the hot tub. The pool house is immaculate with large floor to ceiling windows that showcase the trees and mountains surrounding the resort. There are individual changing and shower rooms, also immaculate. (I really think the Native American management consulted with Disney Parks about how to maintain a beautiful park.)

Tonight's  dinner special was snow crab and steak, but we decided that we'll get our fill of snow crab when we get to Eagle View, so we'd have the special rib steak instead. This is the un-advertised special that the shuttle drivers always tell us about. I just wish I'd think before we order and remember to split a steak with Forrest.   A 10 oz steak, baked potato with all the fixings, a green salad, rolls and vegetables is just more then I can eat anymore...

It's too bad we cannot  stay longer, but we need to get on down the road!
