Drip, Drip, Drip

It's been one of those drippy days. It has threatened to rain all day -- and the weatherperson kept saying it was raining -- but now it is. At first it was just a shower, a pause for a few minutes, then another shower. Now it has settled down and the rain is coming down very steadily.

Forry drove over to Uhlmann's early this afternoon to talk with the parts guys about the seal kit. Turns out that Clayton got the kit ordered on Friday. They asked for it to be sent 2nd day air and they are definitely hoping that it will show up tomorrow.

I spent most of the day doing laundry and hanging the washed clothes up in the living room. Because the air is so damp, the clothes aren't drying well. I suspect it'll be tomorrow morning before I can start folding them.

I got to talk both to Daughter Mary Mae and Sister Sherry today. And I had a long visit with Daughter Dawn yesterday. How fortunate we are to live in a time when talking on the telephone is cheap and easy! I am old enough to remember when a long distance call was a very rare -- and expensive -- thing. Now we think nothing of chatting for an hour. So good to catch up on what's going on.
