We had a brief glimpse of sunshine when we first got up this morning, but it didn't last. The clouds came flying by quite rapidly and the wind gusts got more frequent. Then came the rain showers once again.
We had thought about driving over to the coast today, but the forecast quickly deterred us. There is a storm that came up along the coast of Northern California that reeked havoc along the Washington and Oregon coastal areas.
I was reading and Forry was watching TV when we heard a large bang. Forry saw the first of the newly constructed walls across the road go down. As we looked at the construction site, a second wall also collapsed after another wind gust.
During all of this wind and rain, our neighbors two sites over were up on the roof of their RV, washing and scrubbing and waxing? it. It is amazing that one of the couple didn't get blown off with the large wind gusts we were getting. They must have spent six hours out there working on that roof!
