Midway RV Park - Centralia

I sat in the passenger seat in the front of the RV this morning, drinking the morning's first cup of coffee and watching the river flow by.

This KOA is located just outside of Ellensburg, stuck in a small space between the freeway and the Wenatchee River.

It is an incredibly peaceful place. It's not that far from the ranch, just a bit over a hundred miles. It's a nice spot for a first night and a chance to make sure everything is working and towing right.

We headed out this morning, once again over the Snoqualmie Pass on Interstate 90. We don't have a lot of deciduous trees in this part of the world, but we did see a lot of yellows.

We cut south on State Highway 18  through Maple Valley to pick up Interstate 5. (Definitely need to get that windshield cleaned!)

We pulled into Midway RV Park mid-afternoon. This is a new park to us and it looks like it's a nice one. They have a great many permanent residents, but the area for transients has nice long pull-thru sites with big cement pads between grassy areas. We have an appointment at ten tomorrow morning at Uhlmann's RV, which is only a few mile from here.
