We are staying at the Charleston Peak RV Resort and Winery. There is a very small patch of wine grapes in front of the winery, but we have not seen any other vineyards in the area. I understand that they bring "fruit or juice" in from California and Oregon to Pahrump Valley Winery which is one of the few wineries in Nevada.
The RV Resort is immediately behind the winery and restaurant. It is only a few years old and is part of the Western Horizons Resorts. WHR are affiliated with Resorts of Distinction which is one of the groups that we belong to. So, we can stay here for two weeks without charge.
I hear it raining during the night and we woke up this morning to see snow on the hills above us. I guess Spring is still on her way in many places...
