My Sister-in-law Cindy's birthday was yesterday and her Granddaughter Kiera's (my great-niece) was today. Tonight the family had a birthday party for both of them at Cindy and Brother Pat's home in Moses Lake. What a zoo! All four of our nieces and nephews were ther with their spouses. Well Nephew Nick's girlfriend. Plus all seven of the grand children! Plus Kiera's other set of grandparents and great grandmother and assorted cousins.
A fun time was held by all. The kids led Cindy on a scavenger hunt to find her birthday present from them all - a ring with all of their birth stones - with room for a couple more! The cousins all "helped" Princess Kiera open her presents. It was a kick to watch this one year old know immediately how to push the buttons on her new toy cell phone!
It is so enjoyable to see all of Pat's family and to be close enough to be part of their celebrations.
