It was a big day today for sports on TV. The Mariners were in Tampa Bay playing the Datevil Rays. Cuban refugee Elias pitched a good game that the Mariners won 7-4. That was good.
California Chrome tried for the Triple Crown at the Belmont Stakes today, but didn't make it. It seems like it would be a lot fairer if every horse in the race had run in the previous two races of the Triple Crown as well. That was not a good outcome.
New York Rangers played the Los Angeles Kings tonight in the second game of the play-offs for the Stanley Cup. This game ended up in double overtime before the Kings finally won in sudden death overtime. This was good.
You can tell we spent a good share of the afternoon watching sports on TV. I guess that's as good a way as any to spend a Saturday afternoon.
