We had a good three inches of fresh snow on the ground this morning. Not a lot compared to the mountains or to Spokane, but enough for us! The sun was shining when we got up; then the fog crept in; then the sun came again; then it clouded over! Almost any weather you wanted.
Daughter Mary Mae and Scott finally paid attention to the weather and the forecasts and decided that they weren't going to try coming over the Pass tomorrow. Scott's mother and Dorv will be leaving for their annual anti-SAD (Seasonal Affective Disease) trip to Hawaii on the 5th. And they did want to see them before they were gone for the next couple of months. I was quite relieved that they made the decision not to come, as much as we'd like to see them and our Grandkids. This winter weather is nothing to be blasé about.
I spent most of the afternoon working on the computer as well as doing a load of laundry. My laundry took quite a while to dry, so it must be time to go through the cleaning cycle again. Lint and stuff builds up in the washer/dryer combos and you need to flush them out every once in a while. Fortunately, the Splendide cleaning protocol has been widely circulated in RV circles on the internet.
